Canandaigua Fire Department Summer 2024

In the summer of 2024, the City of Canandaigua granted Paints & Rec the opportunity to transform Canandaigua Fire Department from its original neutral colors, to the historical journey of murals we enjoy today. The hard work of over 200 Canandaigua youth was featured 2 times on local news channels, highlighted in The Finger Lakes Times, as well as celebrated by local food truck vendors and Canandaigua officials at their Grand Reveal. The continuation of this camp will allow us opportunities of expression, coping skills for our youth and personal ownership while beautifying their city.
